Volunteering

Volunteering for the RSPCA is a fantastic way to get involved in helping an abused or neglected animal get a second chance in life.

Here at the Westmorland Branch in Kendal, we could not even begin to help any animal in need without the help of Volunteers.

Just look below at our list of the many opportunities where you could be of assistance.

  • Trustee - Become a trustee and help continue the work we do in the Westmorland area.
  • Charity Shop Assistants - Volunteers are essential in our busy Charity Shops in Kendal. They help staff to organise, display and and sell items that are constantly being donated by the public.
  • Ebay - We are looking for volunteers to help us research and list donations using our eBay and Vinted selling pages.
  • Fundraising - We are looking for a fundraising volunteer who can organise events, rally the troops and generally be innovative in raising the much needed funds that enable us to continue supporting local people and local animals.
  • Drivers - We need volunteers to help us transport our animals to and from the vets as well as dropping off and collecting donations using our vans.

And don’t worry if you lack experience, full training and guidance will be given.
