Through no fault of his own, Tez is looking for a new forever home.
Tez is looking for relatively active owners who can keep him physically and mentally exercised. He loves being outside and having a good sniff so a large garden would be preferable. He isn't too fussed about toys but he LOVES working for food - he is half Lab after all!
He walks beautifully with a halti type lead, and with the right training could walk just as lovely without one. His bloodhound ears need regular cleaning but he actually really enjoys this, especially if you rub them! He does like affection and will seek it but he's also quite an independent dog so isn't adverse to alone time - he is a Bloodhound in nature. He can sometimes be wary of unfamiliar men in his home so needs gentler introduction to help him feel more comfortable.
This friendly boy would like a home with no cats or young children, but he could live with another stable female dog. He might be 8 but still loves a run around so he needs to be living in an area with open space walks.
