Become a Trustee with RSPCA Westmorland

RSPCA Westmorland Branch is seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our Board of Trustees. As a trustee, you will play a vital role in supporting our work to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals, while ensuring the Branch continues to meet its charitable aims and financial responsibilities.

What we're looking for

We are particularly keen to hear from applicants with skills and experience in: 

  • Budgets and accounting - help oversee financial planning and ensure funds are used effectively
  • Business management - guide the branch in developing sustainable operations
  • Law - Provide advice on governance, compliance and risk management

Your role as a trustee

  • Use your expertise to support and advise the Branch manager
  • Help ensure the branch meets its charitable objectives and complies with all legal and financial obligations
  • Contribute to strategic decision making and long term success of the branch 
  • Act as an ambassador for RSPCA Westmorland within the local community
