So far in 2017 we have re-homed

Volunteering for the RSPCA is a fantastic way to get involved in helping an abused or neglected animal get a second chance in life.

Here at the Westmorland Branch in Kendal, we could not even begin to help any animal in need, without the help of Volunteers.

Just look below at our list of the many opportunities where you could be of assistance.

And don’t worry if you lack experience, full training and guidance will be given.

Dog Walker

In company with one of our dogs awaiting rehoming, walk along the leafy lanes and across dedicated footpaths that punctuate the beautiful countryside around our kennels.

Is it possible for you to spend a few hours with a collecting tin and/or be available to help out at some of our Annual Events to raise much needed money, e.g. meet and greet at the entrance, promoting a craft/book stall, distributing posters, selling raffle tickets, serving tea and coffee, etc, etc. …… The list is endless. Fantastic !

Help Feed Our Animals

We accept animals into our care for a wide variety of reasons, so whilst they are with us and before they are rehomed, it’s important that they settle into a regime of eating healthy, nutritious food. You can appreciate that with so many dogs to feed, we’re only too happy to ask for all the help we can get.

From as little as £1 a day, could YOU spare a little cash to ensure that our dogs have enough good food on their journey to recovery?
